Washington Aviation Group Offers Hazmat Training for AEA Members
All hazmat employers are required by U.S. law to obtain hazmat training for their hazmat employees — and the government’s definition of who is a hazmat employer is very broad, including nearly all aeronautical repair stations and most other aviation businesses. FAA Order 8300.10 now requires FAA principal inspectors to check your hazmat compliance.
Attorney Jason Dickstein of the Washington Aviation Group and the AEA’s general counsel, in conjunction with the Aircraft Electronics Association and other industry associations, is conducting hazardous materials training classes tailored to the unique needs of the aviation industry.
Classes are scheduled for:
- July 14-15, at the Airliance headquarters, in Chicago, Ill.
- Aug. 2-3, at the Washington Aviation Group headquarters, in Washington, D.C.,
